I would say my week of craft help at my friend's church has been worth while. Some kids are obnoxious, but thats a given for the 8-12 year old class. It's really cute to hear little voices calling your name "Mrs. Payne, are you related to Major Payne from the movie?"--"Mrs. Payne are you married to Dr. Payne?" they're funny. Some kids were (surprisingly) poor. I noticed one girl that was there 3 days this week so far that wore the same thread-barren clothes each day (aw!). I remember going to something similar when I was a kid, but I never once thought about how much work was involved in putting it on. It's kind of funny to think that some of the kids will never forget the stupid origami pyramids or coloring in a door knob hanger.
